Follow Friday!

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme created by Parajunkee and co-hosted by Alison Can Read where bloggers hop around meeting and following other bloggers. This week's featured bloggers are Caught in the Pages & Jenni Elyse.

Q: In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

A: What a hard question! Ever since I've been a little girl I've always had a thing for the Loch Ness Monster, or "Nessie" as she is now being called. There is something about her that just seems gentle and friendly. I don't believe I have ever read a book in which she was included or tv show about her, but there should be!

I also have a thing for shifters. I love the idea of people being able to transform into any animal they want. If I had that ability I'd spend most of life in the form of a cat. I can dream can't I?

We were hoping to get a picture of Nessie when we were in Scotland last fall, but I guess she didn't like the SNOW!

  8. I'd love to spend part of my life as a cat, too...people could feed me, pamper me, and I'd get to nap in a snuggly spot on a sunny afternoon.

Hmm. Come to think of it, if I'm reincarnated, I'm signing up to be a cat!

Thanks for the FF visit! Am following back. :)

  11. Oh my gosh, yes! It would be so awesome if Nessie suddenly went public -- well, at least more realistically public that she already is. Because there are a bunch of people who believe in the Loch Ness! :)

And shifters are just pure awesomeness! <3

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I'm following you back for sure!

Hope you have an awesome weekend! :)

  13. new follower :) I just posted about my cats on a blog you posted on. I wish I remember what blog it was..argh..lol..

Cats..As we speak my furry palz r sleeping. My babies r all former street cats (caught by me) spayed/neutered/vaccinated, of course. Or they are TNR's (trap/neuter/returns) cuz they cant be "tamed" for a house but deserve to be healthy & looked after from afar. My fave TNR's r Ghost Kitty & Sylvester.
My doggy Bella is a Pitt Bull who's BFF is a cat named JB. Bella was found wandering in the snow as a pup on 1/1/09. I had JUST read the twilight series so the name seemed appropriate.

Nessie would be awesome! I agree she seems very gentle and sweet.

There is something so intriguing and magical about the mystery of Nessie. I totally believe she's real. I'd love to read a YA paranormal book that featured Nessie...that would make an awesome story.

Loch Ness Monster ,too. Thank you for stopping by.

  22. Oh the Loch Ness Monster! That's a brilliant idea, I never thought of that. I did read a book about her once, but it was an old Dr Who novelisation, I think.

I do think there's SOMETHING in the loch, even if it's just a big lizard.
